Artist of the Month
Eleanor Owen Kerr lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and frequently works in mid-coast Maine. She received Maine Media Workshops Professional Certificate in 2005 and has since apprenticed in Cushing with renowned photographer Paul Caponigro.
Her photographs are in the permanent collections of the U.S. State Dept. ART in Embassies, and LSU Museum of Art as well as many corporate collections. She has received awards from International Photography, Prix de la Photographie de Paris, Women in Photography Int'l..
She has been published in Photo Review, Photographer's Forum and Silvershotz International Journal.
Her photos capture nature and it's landscape with it's mystery and hidden depths.
Her show is on display this summer beginning May 5.
