Since our humble beginning in 1990, the Thomaston Cafe has been recognized again and again for it's fine food, top-notch service, and it's true Maine dining locale. Here are just a few of our honorable mentions over the years:

• Our renowned haddock cake recipe was featured in the December '95 Gourmet Magazine "As You Like It" column. 

• Maine Food & Lifestyle featured us in an article entitled "The Legacy of the Thomaston Cafe" as we celebrated our 20th anniversary.

• Get Real, Get Maine, sponsored by the Maine Department of Agriculture, chose us for first place in their statewide "Menus of the Month" competition and chose our Wild Mushroom Hash recipe for it's use of ingredients harvested in Maine. (2001)
