Artist of the Month:

Jean Miele, a photographer from Brooklyn and a  teacher at the Maine Photographic Workshop.

"Moments of Confluence" is a striking exhibit of black and white landscapes.  His interest in

mysticism and spirituality has inspired his work since the 1980's. Images of solitary places, strong

and quiet, intended to remind us that "perfect" moments are possible.  The display runs

from June 5 - July 14. Mr. Miele has been photographing for 20 years, his prints are in

collections and exhibitions in the U.S. and Europe.  An artist reception will be at the Cafe

on Wednesday, June 11 at 5 P.M.   Come enjoy Mr. Miele's wonderful exhibit.
